Katie Price has updated her followers on the status of her relationship with JJ Slater following speculation that they had split.
Previously, the ex-glamour model had indicated she might miss celebrating JJ's birthday due to work, leading to rumors about the stability of their relationship. However, the 46-year-old reality TV star took to Instagram to post a loving photo with JJ, who is known from E4's Married At First Sight UK, along with birthday wishes.
In her update, Katie wrote: "Happy birthday to my @johnjoeslter," accompanied by a red heart emoji.
Additionally, Katie unveiled an exciting new development in her career that involves her recent boyfriend of four months. The television star, who is poised to release her latest autobiography, announced she would devote a full chapter to JJ.
She uploaded a snapshot of her upcoming book's manuscript, specifically pointing to chapter 14 titled "JJ". "Whole chapter on my gorgeous boyfriend," she noted under the photo.
This update comes just weeks after Katie and JJ showed off their new matching tattoos, which say "Baby darling", following a lavish trip to Ayia Napa. Despite staying at a luxury hotel where the average nightly rate is £760, as reported by the Mirror, rumors began to swirl about a possible breakup.
The possibility of a breakup surfaced when Katie, during a conversation on a podcast with her sister Sophie, mentioned that she didn't have much planned for JJ's birthday. She excitedly shared, "It's Junior and JJ's birthday - their birthday is on the same day - the JJs, how weird is that?"
Sophie, intrigued, asked, "Oh yeah, what are you doing for that?" Katie quickly responded, "Doing my audiobook all day."
However, Katie reassured her that celebrations were set for later in the week, saying, "We have got dinner with his mum who has flown over from America on Saturday, and then his dad and sister and their other halves on Friday."
This news also confirmed that Juliet Jones (JJ) had already met Katie's family. Preparing to meet JJ's family herself, Katie's reveal left Sophie quite surprised, prompting her to remark, "It's quite an eventful week for me, really."
