You Haven't Found The "Love Of Your Life" Until You See This One Thing In Your Partner

You Haven’t Found The “love Of Your Life” Until You See This One Thing In Your Partner

Folk wisdom teaches that you will "just know" once you have met the person you should commit to for the rest of your life.

Apparently, when that moment comes, you will have no doubts in your mind that you have found your forever person.

But we know better, don't we?

That is not how life turns out for all of us.

Things Are Never Black And White, Especially In Matters Of Love

You are not always sure you have found the right person. So, how can you tell you might have found the one before going all-in?

Luckily, there are ways to know.

But before we get there, let's clarify some issues first.

Chemistry does not make someone the love of your life, neither are claims that someone is your soulmate.

Also, having someone satisfy every item on your checklist is not a sign they should spend the rest of their life with you either.

And having someone support you all your life is not the ultimate sign of lasting love.

And finally, great sex with the person does not make them perfect for you, nor does years of dating.

Don't get me wrong, these qualities are amazing. But on their own, they don't count for much as far as choosing a life partner goes.

There Is Only One Thing That Can Tell You That Someone Is The Love Of Your Life

And it's simple: they should help you become the best version of yourself.

So, true love is never about chemistry, but getting a chance to become the best version of yourself.

Choose a person you can be yourself around. Pick someone who makes you feel loved despite your flaws.

It is only when love can reach this deep that the ultimate version of yourself can surface. You will feel like your purpose in life is finally being fulfilled.

Think about this for a moment.

Chemistry is easy to build, you just need something in common you are passionate about and you have chemistry.

Having an attractive appearance is not enough either. It's what's on the inside that attracts your true love.

How Many People Can Actually Love Who You Are On The Inside?

Also, just because you have put all your time and resources into someone, it does not mean they belong in your life.

You don't have to walk along the same path. As long as you are there for each other, urging each other on and inspiring each other to be better, then you are on the right track.

With your forever person, you become more of yourself and love every moment of it. You heal from all the wounds from your past.

You break free from the shackles that held you back and become a better person.

That is the whole point of being in a relationship. That is why we end things when relationships make us into worse versions of ourselves.

So, as you look for your one true love, know that chemistry, support, and good times together are good. But true love is special, and it's all about creating the best version of yourself. So, don't be deceived, everything else falls short of this standard.
