The DeCinque sisters, Anna and Lucy, who are known as the "most identical twins in the world," are attempting to conceive simultaneously with the same partner.
Anna and Lucy DeCinque, 37-year-old Australian twins, have gained fame for their dedication to maintaining identical appearances throughout their adulthood. They do this by wearing identical clothing and undergoing matching breast augmentation surgeries.
Anna and Lucy DeCinque, who are known for their identical appearance and shared fiancé, 40-year-old Ben Byrne, have made headlines for their plans to start a family with him.
The sisters' goal is to conceive with their fiancé, Ben Byrne, at the same time, in order for their children to be of the same age.
Anna and Lucy DeCinque, have been preparing for motherhood by taking identical baby dolls to cafes and restaurants, as reported by Daily Mail.
The sisters have always dreamed of starting families simultaneously later in life, but have acknowledged difficulties in conceiving.
On season two of the TLC show Extreme Sisters, they revealed that they use the dolls to fill the void until they have real babies, explaining: "We've had some trouble trying to get pregnant, so this is the next best thing."
Anna and Lucy added: "Our dream is to be pregnant together at the same time."
In 2021, when the twins were 35 and Ben, they began exploring their journey to motherhood. They were excited to learn that they were ovulating at the same time.
"We learned from the internet that when your temperature goes up you're ovulating," Lucy stated before both sisters recorded identical temperatures of 36.8C, exclaiming: "We're the three degrees up. We are ovulating, we are exactly the same."
This was not a surprise to the sisters as they claim to have always been "in sync" with everything.
The episode shows the sisters inviting Ben into the bedroom and then cuts to them positioning themselves with legs up on the headboard, with disheveled sheets around them, in an effort to increase the chances of fertilization.
Ben added: "It's definitely going to be a challenge getting them both pregnant at the same time. It's definitely a lot of pressure, you know, the one guy. It's a matter of multitasking I guess!"
They are also shown eating pineapple pieces, after ensuring that the pieces are exactly the same size.
The sisters have previously stated that there is nothing they will not do together, as Anna said to the New York Post:
"When she goes to the toilet, I come with her; when she has a shower, I come with her.
"You name it and we do it. We're never apart. I don't think we'd function without each other. We have separation anxiety. We're bound to each other."
