Women Are Sharing Sexist Things In Society That Are Normalized Every Day (25 Posts)

Normal should feel healthy and fair. Yet, every passing minute we’re normalizing sexism, chauvinism among other twisted things.
A few dedicated Reddit users used subforum r/TrollXChromosomes to list the obvious things people consider normal, though they are anything but.
Before you start scrolling through “delightful” photos and tweets, remember that change is inevitable. Raise your voice, stand up for what’s healthy, what’s truly normal. Equality, for example.

Women achieved so many things already because we never give up. And why should we? Because someone decided that we’re weaker sex? When, why, how?
Now, let’s dig into the wonderful world of abnormal!
1. Yes, all women are rays of bloody sunshine all the time!
Is she being rude, or have you been socially conditioned into believing that women should be warm, positive and friendly at all times and are uncomfortable when they don’t adhere to that behaviour?

10. It happens, sure, but can we stop and talk about assaults women suffer?
when girls mention sexual assaults men’s first response is “happens to men too” yet when men talk about the high rates of male suicide which is a very valid problem in our society you will NEVER find a girl say “happens to girls too” because we understand basic empathy

11. Sadly, this is our reality
men shame women for having a lot of consensual sex more than they shame other men for rape

I've never seen a man put his hand on another man's lower back/waist when trying to move past in a crowd so please stop doing it to women.

Something I never heard: Boys, girls mature more rapidly than you. Look to them as examples of intelligence and leadership.
17. We should all start doing this

18. It’s the XXI century and condoms are still an issue…
when guys are like “i’m not gonna be able to cum with a condom on” it’s like, ok, cool. sorry to hear that. i’m probably not gonna be able to cum at all, so i guess we’ll get through this together.

21. Special cleaning
Hey @vagisil going to call you out here for this predatory line of products aimed at teen girls. Why do you think teen vulvas need special cleaning? To be prepped for men? Because they are dirty. Anxiously awaiting your answer as are all my followers pic.twitter.com/oVQf5XBx71
