A young woman is not going to jail, despite marrying her dad after "winning him" in a creepy competition with her half-sister over who could have sex with him.

Not even Game of Thrones used this plot, but life's often stranger than fiction. Or horror.

The woman didn't grow up with her father

Samantha Kershner, 21, met her biological dad Travis Fieldgrove, 40, when she was 17 after begging her mom to reveal who he was.

The family reunion got a dramatic twist after Samantha and her half-sister started a jealous competition regarding who could have sex with their father.

Initially, Samantha and Travis had a typical father-daughter relationship.

But, something happened, and the two started sleeping together. Yes, it's too gross for words.

To make things ever worse, if that's possible, they got married last October.

We rarely hear about the cases of incest between fathers and daughters that are consensual. Somehow, it only makes things more twisted.

Daddy's In Jail

Fieldgrove is in jail for having sex with his daughter. He was initially charged with committing incest.

Additionally, he was charged with a felony, but he pleaded no contest to an attempt charge under a plea deal.

He was jailed for two years, with Hall County District Judge Mark Young.

Defense attorney Jeff Loeffler said Fieldgrove is embarrassed by the offense and claimed his client suffers from a brain injury and is not a "high-functioning" person.

Also, once he's out of jail, Fieldgrove cannot be in contact with his daughter.

Kershner was also charged with incest initially. She managed to get nine months of probation.

The father-daughter duo, who're also spouses, will face more legal problems.

They got married in Adams County, where they are wanted for more incest charges for getting married there, with Kershner also facing a charge of making false statements under oath.

Kershner admitted to specialists she slept with her dad because of the crazy competition. They continued their relationship after their first time. The couple married only one month later.

Both, at some point, claimed that they did not believe they are related. But DNA doesn't lie.

DNA results showed a 99.999% probability that Fieldgrove is Kershner's dad, the affidavit states.

Hopefully, they will both get the help they desperately need.
