Woman Urinates On Floor After Refusing To Leave Verizon Store For Not Wearing Mask

We hear a lot about anti-mask incidents as the public health measure became politicized amid a particularly sensitive time in the United States.
But this mask-induced story might be the craziest so far…
A California Verizon store’s mask-wearing rule made one customer lose control. What did she do? She dropped her pants and urinated right on the floor, according to a report.
Store employees called authorities after three shoppers refused to leave the store and one unidentified woman didn’t have a face mask on, and then authorities confirmed that the woman urinated on the floor.
According to CBS Sacramento, a police dispatch operator in Roseville told officers that three people “are refusing to leave, not wearing a mask … they’ve asked several times and she refuses,”
Three minutes later, the dispatch operator told the officers that the woman had urinated on the store floor.
“They’re calling back and advising that the female is pulling down her pants and is now urinating inside the business,” the operator adds a few minutes later.
After the responding officers collared the woman they found several items in her car that had been stolen from a nearby Dick’s Sporting Goods store, according to the outlet.
Residents who heard about the incident were shocked by the woman’s mad behavior.
“Absolutely not. That’s totally inappropriate. We’re not animals,” resident Michelle Davidson told CBS Sacramento about the woman’s actions in the store.
“I’m very disappointed that we as a society choose to have this unity and let the virus divide us,” she added about people who refuse to wear face masks during the coronavirus pandemic.
Another resident, Kelly Berger, said: “I don’t really have much to say except that’s probably not the right way to react to it. Simply wear the mask or leave, I guess.”
Just like so many other businesses and major retail chains, Verizon requires customers to wear face masks while shopping at any of the store locations.
Verizon rep Heidi Flato told the outlet that the company is firmly requiring all shoppers to wear face masks in their stores amid the coronavirus pandemic. She added that this incident wasn’t just about the mask policy but she wouldn’t comment further.
As cases surge across California, the state has a face mask mandate in place.
