While running, a woman was unaware of an active shooting incident happening around her due to the effectiveness of her noise-canceling AirPods.
A TikTok user named Christina (@movementwithtina) uploaded a video of herself on a regular run, where she shared: "POV your AirPods are on noise-canceling and your phone is on DND so you don't realize you just ran through an active shooting."
In the video posted by Christina (@movementwithtina), the runner can be seen jogging through a residential street while sirens blare in the background, completely oblivious to the active shooting happening around her.
She gives a thumbs up to the camera as she passes by.
The caption of the video reads:
"The sirens in the back and my blissful unawareness is sending me. But for real this was actually really intense and I'm so sorry for those injured and everyone impacted."

On May 4, when police were engaged in a search for a suspected gunman named Deion Patterson in Atlanta, Christina posted her video.
According to Atlanta Police Deputy Chief Charles Hampton, Patterson allegedly went to Northside Medical Midtown on the same day and shot a 38-year-old woman, leaving four others injured.
He then fled on foot, stole an unattended pickup truck, and was eventually arrested inside a gated condo complex about 10 miles north of the shooting location, with the vehicle's tag number captured on cameras in Cobb County.
The incident was described as a "horrible act of gun violence" by Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens.
"We need more actions (for) the rights of our citizens to go about their lives, to be able to go to a doctor's office, to a supermarket, to a gas station or to their school without the threat of being gunned down."
Christina made a response video addressing a comment made by a user:
"I'm sorry but AirPods noise cancellation is not that good lol."
She recounted the events, expressing that it still felt surreal to talk about it.

"Basically, I live in midtown Atlanta, and I went on a 5k run," the TikToker shared.
"I went my usual route and I put my phone on Do Not Disturb - I always do that when I go on my run."
"I had my AirPods on noise canceling because I was running through residential streets, and there's always lots of people out there, and I never had any issues on those streets," she continued.
"To get to the residential streets, I had to run through main parts of the city to get to those parts. So I ran past caution tape, a bunch of cops, ambulances, all this kind of stuff – swarms of people outside."
According to Christina, she was accustomed to witnessing such incidents in Atlanta, but she did not expect it to be of that magnitude. She believed it could have been caused by road construction or a car accident.
"So I kept running," she explained.
"Then once I realized there were more cops going down the residential streets, clearly they were looking for the shooter. That's when I kind of started thinking something was up."
"I took a quick break and I looked at my phone, and I saw my boyfriend had tried to call me and had texted me multiple times saying like, 'Hey, it's on your route, please answer'."
Christina confirmed that she was unharmed and chose to take a different route back home.
