Her father worked out of town but he would always spend time with her when he was around.

Although her mother was gone, the young woman had a pretty good life.

Her grandparents passed away a few years back after getting infected with COVID.

She was the only person they had put on their will, which means she ended up owning their money, house, and truck.

After her mother passed away, her dad started dating again. However, he did not bring anyone to the house until he met the young woman's stepmother-to-be.

The woman has two kids, and as their relationship got serious, they moved in.

Since moving in, it has been six months. Her stepmom is expecting another child, which is why she wants the 23-year-old to move out so that the newborn can have her room.

Unfortunately, her dad forgot to tell the stepmom that the house was not his. She brought up the issue after he got back from work.

The stepmom wanted the young woman to move to the city after completing her studies. She went as far as offering her stepdaughter her apartment at a discounted price.

This was rather strange since she was living cost-free under the young woman's roof.

When the woman gave her dad a chance to break the news to her stepmom himself, he did not. Therefore, she told the stepmom that she owns the house and would not be leaving as she had requested.
