One young woman in China clearly has had enough of a young man's affection.

Eyewitnesses said that the man had been chasing the woman for five years. She rejected him over and over again, but he did not get the hint.

He continued professing his love until they were finally on the pavement, in the middle of the street.

Finally, the young woman broke down, and according to Yahoo Taiwan News that she yelled:

"Please, let me go!"

The woman, some claimed is named Anhui, did nothing wrong, though the internet is divided.

Some claim she should give him a chance, and others think he should respect her wishes.

It's been five years, and this public breakdown is proof that a suitor can turn into a stalker if he refuses to accept that a woman does not want him.

No means no, and this is not love but a borderline dangerous obsession. Let's stop normalizing stalking "in the name of love."
