Everyone seems excited about this bit of news, but Prince William and Kate Middleton's reaction has generated even more buzz about the girl's birth.
For starters, no one expected the tweet William and Kate sent after the birth of their niece.
Obviously, Harry and Meghan were ecstatic about the birth of the baby girl.
By now, everyone knows how hard the last few years have been for the famous couple.
Harry and Meghan got married in 2018. Meghan was an actress in Suits.
Their wedding was, by all standards, a pretty happy affair, but the joy would soon turn into trouble for the two.
The British media was onto Meghan, and it seemed that every move she made was met with hateful criticism and attacks.
When the couple could not take it anymore, they informed the world that they would be abandoning their senior duties as part of the royal family.
At this point, all they wanted was a quiet and safe life as they raised their son Archie.
Before long, the two were fully settled in Los Angeles, ready to start afresh.

As expected, the decision to move to the US was met with a lot of criticism from royalists.
That included Piers Morgan, who mocked the couple and even told them he would not be tweeting about their baby news as a way to respect their "constant pleas for privacy."

Harry admitted during the interview that he was trapped in a cycle of "pain and suffering." This was the most talked-about section of the podcast.
In a subtle way, he also seemed critical of the manner in which his father Prince Charles raised him.

The name has nothing to do with the use of Diana's name but the Queen's nickname, Lilibet. Apparently, the name has confused many people.
The name was given to her as a child, and it was used by her husband Prince Phillip, who passed away in April.
The royal commentator, Dickie, said that although it is not "unusual for families to name babies after a parent or grandparent," the couple's choice of name was surprising.
He claimed that it was controversial to christen a baby using a nickname and was, therefore 'taken about' by their decision to give her this name.
The Name Was More Surprising Given The Oprah Interview
Dickie admitted that considering everything that had happened in the recent months, including the March interview with Oprah and Harry's appearance on a mental health program for Apple TV, the decision was truly unexpected.
He said that Harry criticized his father and the way he was raised, which meant he was also critical of the Queen.
The spokesperson went on to state that this might be Harry and Meghan showing their independence once more by giving their baby girl that name. Archie also bears a non-royal name.
Harry was so close to his mother that her death is still a mental struggle for him over two decades later.
