Whoopi Goldberg found herself in hot water after claiming that Holocaust was not about race. She soon apologized, but that is not nearly enough, according to the Page Six sources.
The View host, 66, first tried to make amends while on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Then she tweeted, "I stand corrected."
However, the Page Six sources claim that people who work on The View, and Disney, are "furious that Goldberg has not been disciplined."
The same sources claim:
"ABC staffers and Disney Network execs are saying Whoopi went way too far. And board members are not happy with her apology and want a fuller retraction. The word is that Whoopi is in 'deep s–t."
They added that the situation wouldn't resolve overnight, adding:
"Why does Whoopi seemingly get a pass when others don't? Perhaps this time, she won't. Many at the network — including her fellow hosts — believe Whoopi is too controversial now for the show."
Allegedly, Joy Behar found Whoopi's stance on the Holocaust particularly troubling. Additionally, Whoopi Goldberg's agents are panicking while the actress and TV host has to worry "about death threats."
Those who are outraged pointed out that Sharon Osbourne and Rosie O'Donnell were fired for "much less."
It appears that Whoopi had no ill intentions. However, the lack of knowledge and understanding that the Nazis called themselves a superior race, the Aryans, goes beyond men attacking men, or as Whoopi said, "inhumanity to man."

Ironically, Piers Morgan appears to be outraged, though he defended free speech only days ago and his friend Joe Rogan. Rogan's podcast on Spotify came under fire after the host stated:
"If you're like 21 years old, and you say to me, should I get vaccinated? I'll go, no."
It was unethical and led to several prominent artists pulling their music from the platform.

ABC and Disney have not officially commented on the matter. The only thing that appears to be going in Whoopi's favor is that people are tired of cancel culture. But that does not make her views any less damaging.
