If you were lucky enough to grow up with a grandmother, you most likely had some amazing meals and treats. Grandmas are here to spoil us and to remind us to eat. All the time!
That and his grandma's love inspired photographer Gabriele Galimberti to create a series called Delicatessen With Love.
Grandmothers worldwide showing their specialities
This project took Galimberti to 58 countries. He took pictures of grandmothers with the ingredients and their signature dishes. Of course, inspiration came from his grandmother, who made him a meal before jetting off to the worldwide adventure.
Delicatessen With Love is not the first project that took Galimberti to see the world. He previously did the Toy Stories series, where he would take pictures of kids from around the world with their most beloved toys.
Yet, there's something incredibly heartwarming when you see all these grandmothers proudly showing their culinary skills.
The photographer said that his grandmother prepared for him a dish of ravioli before he departed. Now, let's see what Delicatessen With Love looks like, and remember to be grateful for all caring grandmas out there!
