To mock a soul in pain is a dreadful thing. But, this wedding photographer company did just that. They made fun of a man's pain and made fun of his wedding that never took place because of a tragic event.

Why? Just because he requested a refund for his photoshoot.

Justin Montney and Alexis Wyatt were to get married, but a tragic event occurred on February 4 that led to the cancellation of the wedding. The 22-year-old bride-to-be, Alexis, lost her life tragically just before the wedding day.

The scheduled photography company cruelly mocked the groom-that-would-have-been on their planned wedding day.

What The Company Said On Receiving The Request For A Refund

According to KRDO-TV, Justin asked the firm Copper Stallion Media to return a $1,800 deposit after 22-year old Alexis died. When he did, he was mercilessly mocked online on the company's website.

He said:

They said they'd extend my service to my next wedding, which was a very insensitive thing to tell me. They should have been able to [refund it] because they didn't render any service.

It was very insensitive on the company's part to say such a thing to someone dealing with the pain of losing the person he planned to spend the rest of his life with. The company turned their back on the refund claim, claiming that they had signed a "legally binding contract" in November.

The Public's Reaction

Fox6 Now reported that people reacted negatively to the company for bashing its customer heartlessly. People left negative reviews on the company's website and thoroughly bashed them for being so inhumane.

Montney brought his story to KRDO-TV and admitted in the segment that the contract signed stated that the fee was non-refundable. Even if he would be denied a refund, remarks such as "Life is a bitch, Justin" is no way to handle that.

Copper Stallion Media In Defense

This shot from its website was really insensitive though they seem to validate it with some sort of explanation.

On its website, the photography company said:

We replied and expressed our sympathy and explained to him that all of our wedding contracts are non-refundable. He kept emailing us trying to get a refund and we kept reiterating that the contract is non-refundable. We eventually stopped responding since the issue was moot.

The company is yet to give any further response.
