We've all been there - just when you thought that you've found your new favorite show on Netflix, they dare to play with your feelings and cancel it.
And this happens every single time!
In situations such as these, we get the idea of how engaged we were in the habit of binging episodes and pulling all-nighters.
However, being devoted to a TV show and rooting for couples and characters has its consequences.
And sometimes the Universe plots its revenge against us, so boom - the show is gone and forgotten.
Thankfully, this won't be the case with Virgin River.
One of the most popular Netflix series, Virgin River, has been renewed for a third season. And yes, we're celebrating!
Thankfully, 2020 didn't mess all things up. Still, there are some crumbles that could cheer us up in hard times like these.
If you (too) have already watched every single thing on Netflix, hang in there.
Especially if you feel a little junk-drunk - there might be some good news after all.
On Friday, December 18, Netflix announced that it would be renewing Virgin River for season 3. It would be released approximately in late November 2021.
What's All The Fuss About?
Virgin River is a soapy but yet classy romantic drama. The story revolves around Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), who desperately seeks a change in her life. To escape from all demons of her past, she moves to Los Angeles to become a midwife and nurse practitioner in a small northern California town of Virgin River.
But, drumroll - that's not all!
She finds out that sometimes it's impossible to escape from who you are. And although big cities bring big trouble, small towns can serve even major drama on a silver platter, right under our nose.
The description may sound a bit boring, but believe it - this show is a sight for sore eyes!
Heartbreaking and heart mending, it is able to satisfy even the pickiest taste.
Sweet Little Things Of Joy
Netflix's Twitter account shared a video where Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson, the stars of this show, announce this awesome news.
Martin broke the news:
"Hi everybody! We just want to say a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making Season 2 such a big success for Virgin River. And because of that..."
Alexandra finished his thought:
"Season 3 has been picked up by Netflix!"
Hip hip hooray!
Spilling The Tea
What we know so far is that the new season will introduce a lot of new faces.
Zibby Allen, the star of Grey's Anatomy and The Flash is one of them. She will join Virgin River as Jack's sister Bree.
And Stacey Farber will also come to town as Lily's daughter, Tara Anderson.
