Video: Shocking Moment Road Rage Driver Slams Into Back Of Another Car While Screaming Insults At Another Driver Brian Raleigh Published in Oct 2020 / Updated in Sep 2021 Road rage driver shouted obscenities at another motorist. They got an instant karma slap. A viral video captured a road rage driver smashing into a vehicle in front of him while berating a different motorist. The video shows the man driving along Lougheed Highway by Meadowtown Centre, British Columbia, in a Sedan. The driver then yells at the car in an adjacent lane. Those traveling in the neighboring car and who took the video clearly knew something was about to unfold. A woman in the 10-second clip tells another passenger to start filming. Moments later, as the camera is facing towards the road, the angry driver comes into view. While it’s unclear what the man was saying, the camera’s microphone captured a few profanity words. And as the man accelerates to overtake other cars, he smashed into the car in front of him. As a result of the impact, his airbag deploys and the person filming laughs hysterically before the clip ends. Cops later responded to the scene and arrested the man. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt in the crash. Local police said that only one woman suffered minor injuries. Insp. Aaron Paradis said: “Ridge Meadows RCMP can confirm that police responded to a multi-vehicle collision near the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Meadows Gardens Way.”“Four vehicles were involved, and one female was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Officers also arrested one man at the scene.” However, police didn’t comment on whether the crash was a result of road rage. How Did People React? After watching the video, many citizans slammed the driver. One person said: “Whatever it was, it’s never enough to risk everyone’s life around you by driving like an idiot. Let it go and go home and enjoy your night.” While another said: “Why do people have car balls when they would not have the same balls if they were on the street. It’s not always safe to show your balls while in the safety of a car.” Other social media users sympathized with the victims at the scene. One user said: “Why would a person laugh at the moment when a rude driver hit an innocent person from behind?”“I hope the people the driver hit did not have injuries and it’s just vehicle damage. However, considering how fast he was driving, it is unlikely people walked away with no injuries.” Road rage incidents and fatalities have increased over the years. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration study, there’s been a 500 percent spike in deaths over the past decade.
