Outraged activists denounced the California Highway Patrol after a demonstrator jumped on top of a patrol car and fell off as they sped off.
During protests, hundreds of anti-Trump rioters were blocking traffic around the McClellan Park area to protest his visit.
Schenk, who helped organize the demonstration, claimed that the CHP officer 'ran down' her fellow protesters for no reason.
Schenk said:
"We are here because it trickles down from the top. Trump coming out here was a political front. He doesn't care about forestry."
She added:
"So, we came out here peacefully, and look what happens."
"We have six people ran down by Trumpsters, and then we have two more ran down by CHP."
While the videos from the scene show demonstrators harassing motorists, they complained when the cars sped past them.
At one point, a rioter climbed onto the front of a CHP patrol car.
The mob surrounding the officer stepped back as the rioter scrambled over the windshield and onto the roof of the car.
The officer then accelerated the car, forcing the rioter to slide down towards the car's rear. He then fell on the pavement.
Meanwhile, Schenk alleged that the officer was guilty of carrying out an intentional attack on the rioter.
She claimed:
"That officer was sitting here parked for about 30 minutes. All of a sudden, he turns his car on and gases it as fast as he can."
"It was not an accident at all. He planned it out."
The emergency response team later took the rioter to Mercy San Juan hospital with minor injuries.
Schenk also said that another patrol car hurt a second demonstrator as the officer drove off.
But CHP dismissed her allegation.
They said that two officers had finished conducting traffic control in Airbase Drive and Watt Street. So, they tried to drive away from the group.
The video shows the crowd attempting to block a CHP car. And one rioter jumps on the hood of the car.
The officer then accelerated to break-free of the mayhem, causing the protester to slide down towards the rear of the car.
Following the incident, the North Sacramento Area CHP launched an investigation.
The CHP said:
"The North Sacramento Area CHP is investigating an incident from earlier… involving a protestor and one of our patrol vehicles."
"As the lead vehicle began to pull away, one of the protesters climbed up the hood of the patrol car."
"Fearing for his safety, the officer began to accelerate away, and the protester fell off the vehicle."
