According to KTLA, firefighters worked for nearly three hours to rescue a naked woman who was stuck in an 8-inch gap between two buildings. The woman had been crying out for assistance for over half an hour before concerned citizens near N. Harbor Boulevard in Santa Ana contacted 911.

1. It Was Unclear How Long She'd Been There When Help Finally Arrived

The woman, whose name was not disclosed, was discovered trapped between the walls of an auto body shop and a car stereo store on N. Harbor Boulevard in Santa Ana on Tuesday. It remains unclear how long she had been stuck before concerned employees heard her cries for help around 2 p.m. and called 911. The Santa Ana Police Department and the Ocean County Fire Authority were dispatched to the scene.

2. It Took Nearly Three Hours To Free Her

Initially, the firefighters faced difficulty in spotting the woman, let alone rescuing her. Therefore, they had to come up with a unique strategy: drilling a hole through a concrete wall near her and using a camera to see if they could cut her out. Fortunately, this approach eventually proved successful, and they were able to rescue the woman.

3. She Was Awake And Alert The Entire Time

Fortunately, the woman was conscious and able to communicate with the rescuers throughout the entire rescue mission. After she was freed, she was taken to a nearby hospital for assessment but appeared to be in stable condition.

4. No One Knows How She Got There

It's not every day that you witness something like this, but there is still no clear explanation as to how a naked woman ended up being stuck between two walls.

"We heard a lady in the back, behind our shop, screaming, screaming, screaming," said a shop owner in the area. "We called the cops and the cops came in and got on the roof and looked between the two walls and she's all naked. She was in pain. She was screaming in pain. She was upside down too."
