A group of Ukrainian women has raised $791,259 by selling nudes. The money will go towards supporting the country's troops.
The project, called TerOnlyFans, has managed to raise this enormous amount of money in just three months. The group has promised to keep the project going.
The group was founded by Nastsassia Nasko, who told the media that the project started by accident.
A couple of days after Russia invaded Ukraine, she tweeted asking if anyone with a car could help get an acquaintance out of Kharkiv, which was among the first Ukrainian cities the invading Russian troops attacked.
She did not get a response, and then she joked that she would send a nude picture to anyone who was able to help.
Within 5 minutes of making the naughty offer, she had 10 messages in her inbox. After sending a nude picture of herself to a man in a position to help, the acquaintance was evacuated from Kharkiv.
The experience gave her the idea to start TerOnlyFans, with "Ter" being short for territorial defense. She launched the site with her friend Anastasiya Kuchmenko on International Women's Day.
Nasko has revealed that she is happy that she has been able to support Ukraine's war effort.
"I feel happy because I can support people in Ukraine and show that not all Belarusians like Russians and that we are good people. We want to help our neighbors."
The project is much like OnlyFans, except the donations will go straight to Ukraine's army. Some of the contributions go to refugee and animal shelter organizations.
Since the site was launched, 35 women and three men have signed up to help support the group's cause. Only 10 members have had previous experience with OnlyFans.
However, the members don't take requests for pictures since they "are not sex workers."
According to Nasko, most donations go to Ukraine's Territorial Defense. Also, although most of the donations are from Ukraine, the group has received contributions from the Netherlands, UK, and France.
The group's biggest donation so far was a cryptocurrency payment worth £2,200 ($2,800).
Nasko said the project will end when "Putin dies, and Russia stops their aggression."
