Tyga is a popular rapper who makes money from spitting bars as well as sharing steamy content on OnlyFans.
He is believed to earn more than $5 million a month from his OnlyFans account alone. Obviously, the musician is making a pretty penny with the content he shares online.
But, as it seems, rolling in the dough doesn't make you smart with money.
Apparently, Tyga is behind on his rent as well as accused of causing damage to the house he rented in Los Angeles.
A report by TMZ indicates that court documents show how Tyga is accused of doing many unlawful things to the home he lived in for a year.
Heaps of Money Owed
The musician owes his unnamed landlord $32 000 for rent that hasn't been paid yet. On top of that, he also has to fork out $15 500 for marble floors and counters that were damaged.
Additionally, it is expected that he pay $28 000 for damage to the home's floor. Then there is the matter of roughly $200 000 owed for damage to murals and wallpaper.
It looks like the parties the rapper held got out of hand more than once.
The landlord stated that Tyga installed a basketball hoop in the house's driveway which caused more damage.
He also changed the locks of the home without permission.
Page Six reported that the landlord attempted to settle the matter without taking the legal route but the rapper didn't want to co-operate.
Despite the huge amount of damages caused, the landlord is only suing for a settlement of $200 000.
Not His First Rent-related Trouble
This is not the first time that Tyga got into hot water for not paying rent. Back in 2018, Mezghan Hussainy said he did not pay rent for his home in Beverly Hills.
The make-up artist owns the house that Tyga had been renting from her for more than $41 000 a month.
He moved in early in 2017 but did not pay anything towards rent, and she had to take legal action to get her money. She also legally removed him from the house.
