Twitter Tells Trump He Lost The Election To Biden On His Own Tweets

Twitter responds to Trump's tweets, telling him he lost the election and to stop posting 'misleading content.'

Trump has repeatedly tweeted unsupported statements claiming the U.S. election results were impacted by fraud. However, there has been no evidence to support these claims.

As a result, Twitter has flagged Trump's tweets with the label, 'multiple sources called this election differently' and then linking out to sources that give factual information about the election.

Twitter has now changed this label to 'election officials have certified Joe Biden as the winner of the U.S. Presidential election.'

This was soon after the Electoral College confirmed President-elect Joe Biden's victory.

For instance, Twitter recently linked this latest label to an inaccurate Trump's tweet, which read:

"The lie of the year is that Joe Biden won!"

The Twitter Label Also Flagged Other Trump's Tweets

For example, it flagged the tweet that stated:

"The Cyber Hack is far greater in the Fake News Media than in actuality. I have been fully briefed and everything is well under control."

"Russia, Russia, Russia is the priority chant when anything happens because Lamestream is, for mostly financial reasons, petrified of […] discussing the possibility that it may be China (it may!)."

"There could also have been a hit on our ridiculous voting machines during the election, which is now obvious that I won big, making it an even more corrupted embarrassment for the USA."

The Electoral College confirmed President-elect Biden on Dec 14, following a series of attempts by Trump and his allies to discredit election results.

According to A.P. News, the presidential electors gave Biden a solid majority of 306 electoral votes to Trump's 232. This is the same margin Trump bragged was a landslide when he won the White House four years ago.

Following Electoral College affirmation, Biden said in an evening speech:

"Once again in America, the rule of law, our Constitution, and the will of the people have prevailed."

"Our democracy... proved to be resilient, true, and strong."

Biden also renewed his campaign promise to be a president for all Americans, whether they voted for him or not.

He also insisted the country has hard work ahead on the virus and economy.

Despite Electoral College confirmation, however, there was no concession from the White House, where Trump has continued to make unsupported allegations of fraud.

On Nov 12, a group of national, state and private election officials said in a joint statement:

"[The 2020 election voting process was] the most secure in American history…"

"There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes... Or was in any way compromised."
