Jessica Yaniv is a Canadian trans woman who in 2019 filed human rights complaints against several salon workers. Their offense? They refused to wax her lady spheres. Yaniv concluded that they were all discriminating against her and accused them of transphobic discrimination.
Well, good news for those accused and those in their favor: Jessica Yaniv lost every single one of those cases. The Justice Center for Constitutional Freedom ruled in favor of the salon workers.
The Press Release
In the press release, the decision of the court goes thus:
"Human rights legislation does not require a service provider to wax a type of genitals they are not trained for and have not consented to wax."
In other words, the salon workers wax females and female genitalia only. The fact that Yaniv was a trans female but with male genitalia took the job out of the workers' jurisdiction.
According to Jay Cameron, the Litigation Minister of the Justice Centre;
"No woman should be compelled to touch male genitals against her will, irrespective of how the owner of the genitals identifies."
Yaniv's testimony was labeled "disingenuous and self-serving" because she engaged in improper conduct, which included filing complaints about improper purposes. Amidst stating her evidence, she contradicted herself, was evasive, and argumentative. None of these worked in her favor.
The Tribunal ordered Yaniv to pay a sum of $2000 to three of the five accused women represented by the Justice Centre. This included Mrs. Hehar Gill, who was forced to close her business due to Yaniv's accusations.
This was a befitting outcome. No one is allowed to use the human rights law as a weapon for extortion.
The issue could have dragged on or been immediately dismissed. But, it was settled within four months with all accused parties paying their due.
Yaniv's Online Charades
Other vices up Yaniv's sleeve came to light. One of such is her inclination to chat up underage girls online. This happened even while she was male (bearing the name Jonathan).
She is disturbingly obsessed with menstruation, going all out to ask some girls to send pictures of their menstrual pads. Pretty sick!
On another occasion, the police had to visit her home after she pulled out a taser while on an interview with Blaire White.
