To Live A Positive Life, Leave Your Negative Mind Behind

To Live A Positive Life, Leave Your Negative Mind Behind

It sounds too easy, doesn't it? Almost like, 'why didn't we think about that before'. Well, in reality, it's easier said than done, being positive as anyone with mental health issues can attest to.

Once you get stuck inside your own head, it's a free invitation for all of the negative thoughts. Vicious spirals. Whirlpools of self-doubt. All of which seem impossible to escape from or come out of on the other side unscathed.

Yes, you don't emerge from anything unscathed, but you're so often stronger from having got out alive. Even if you feel fragile and delicate, don't dismiss your progress.

As long as you're trying to remain positive and doing what you can, that's what counts. It's asking a lot to be positive all the time. That's unrealistic and probably just as unhealthy as being completely negative. Emotions are not homogenous!

That said, it's important not to get discouraged

With emotional support and the complexities associated with it, it's so hard to sense progress. In any tangible way, anyway.

That's sometimes when keeping a dream journal or a daily diary can be important, or at least reassuring. Yes, you have some bad days, often consecutively or accretive. But that doesn't mean that the clouds won't clear. Eventually.

You create your own karma

Negative minds will never give you anything other than a negative lifestyle or approach to life. Trying to create a positive outlook won't magically save it, but that's all that we can do.

It's important to note that we can't control our emotions most of the time. So much about recognizing what emotion we're even feeling is retrospectively noted. In the moment, it's nearly impossible to perfectly address the emotion we're feeling.

That's fine. That's human. Believe me.

You have to be kind to yourself, but also try to be disciplined. Know what you need. Do what you can to cater to those positive signs. Prioritize yourself!

Even when thinking positively for yourself, it can feel like you have to sacrifice time for other things or people. Maybe you have to let other people down or make them feel less positive, but you can't control that all the time.

Be brave enough and positive enough to stick to your guns. Prioritize yourself, even if it seems like a trade-off. It's worth it in the long run.

But when it's getting tough, here are some laws of karma to let you know that if you think positive thoughts, positivity will come your way.

Here are the key bullet points for positive karma!

1 – growth – in order to grow you have to make mistakes. Look them in the eye, remain positive and keep going!

2 – creation – sometimes you will fail or things that you love won't overlap with other people's vision. That doesn't mean you aren't super talented and that your positive energies won't eventually come good. There is justice in the world. It's not looking to smother your voice. You will be heard.

3 – humility – even when it's going well, keep your cool. Don't let your successes get you too high. Otherwise, you will let the negatives get you too low. Moderation, as the saying goes.

4 – generosity – if you have a means of doing so, do. Give proportionally with what you have, and it will come back to you in some way or another, even if it's just a word of positive encouragement. It's freely given and makes such a difference. You will notice it when you need it the most.

5 – connection – relationships give you back precisely what you put in. Go into relationships willing to see the best in people, be ready to compromise and find peace and you will know soon enough when it hits you.

6 – presence – be in the moment. Don't worry too much about the future. Focus on the present and don't linger in the past.

7 – focus – It does what it says on the tin. Focus on your goals, stay positive, and stick to them.

Karma will give you back the positivity you deserve.
