Anti-Trump TikTok teens tried to sabotage a Republican rally but ended up donating close to $16,000 to the GOP.
Thousands of teens tried to sabotage a Staten Island Republican rally by hoarding online tickets — just as they did in Tulsa back in to embarrass Trump.
However, this time around, the Staten Island Republican officials were alert enough to turn things around on the TikTokers.
The GOP bamboozled the teens into pouring nearly $16,000 into party coffers instead.
Staten Island GOP chairman, Brendan Lantry, explained:
We had about 1,500 RSVPs from Staten Islanders. Then all of a sudden, we started seeing the numbers tick up to 10,000, 15,000, 75,000. We knew something was not right.
Lantry’s wife Jessica, an avid TikTok user, soon traced the sign-ups to their source.
She found a TikTok clip with over half-a-million views from a 19-year-old Brooklynite known as Felisrae. In the clip, the user had urged anti-Trump followers to sign up for the event but not attend.
The teen said in the 51-second video:
Do you hate this orange b**** as much as I do?”
It turns out that Trump is having a rally in Staten Island. … So what I did was, I reserved myself two seats. But I’m pretty sure that I have something to do that day.
So, do what you want with this information.
However, after reviewing the clip, the event organizers added a non-refundable $5 fee to reserve tickets. They did this to try to stop the TikTokers.
But this didn’t work.
But they kept coming. From Colorado and California and Chicago and Houston, all over the country.
They hate this president so much that they’re willing to donate to the Republican Party to troll him.
By the time the event came around in a commercial parking lot on the South Shore, the anti-Trump TikTokers had shelled out $15,785. They had bought more than 3,000 vouchers they had no intention of using.
It should be noted that this was an open-air rally, and the event drew 2,500 locals.
Thank you, progressives, for helping us put on a successful rally.
