"Every step you take, every move you make"... Cat owners know that fluffy pets are curious, to the point of being stalkerish.
Cats aren't just crazy obsessed with their owners. Their hilariously cute curiosity extends to everything and anything that catches their attention.
So, a Taiwanese shop owner installed a glass ceiling for his cats, who live above the shop. And the results are disturbingly humorous.
I always feel like somebody's watching me
Taiwanese Twitter user @SCMcrocodile tweeted the photo of his friend's new and improved shop. During the renovation, the shop owner, feline lover, added a glass ceiling.
Now, his loyal and overly curious kittens can enjoy investigating their owner's habits while they're also trying to figure out how to take over the world.
The owner's small attic space above the shop is a perfect hideaway for the kittens, who still maintain a sense of privacy. Yet, they can keep an eye on the owner, whether lying or investigating the customers.
Best surveillance system ever
First, let's be honest here. The owner most likely missed their cats, hence the glass ceiling.
He also got the best and permanent surveillance system in the universe since, unlike dogs, cats prefer to investigate, not to sniff around while jumping, barking, and asking for belly rubs. All the time.
And, as per Twitter, the three cats know exactly when's their lunch break. So, they call their owner as a reminder that they are always in charge. If he doesn't respond on time...
Well, there's photographic proof that cannot be denied. Don't feed them once, shame on them for not using this technique immediately.
But do it twice, and your newly adapted attic will suffer.
Twitter loves this purrveilance
Nothing can make social media users laugh as much as the curious world of their pets and animals in general.
Many agree that this is pure CCTV - cat ceiling top view. Others joke that this is where cats belong, looking down upon us like the overlords that they truly are.
The video and the pictures got 178,900 likes on Twitter, with over 67,000 retweets. The cats are now famous, as they are meme kings and queens among the crazy world of pet lovers.
And we admit: we're not hooked, we're obsessed. What are the kittens thinking? Are they making fun of us? Perhaps they are merely looking for more of our weaknesses, and we're entering the cat era.
That doesn't sound bad at all! Enjoy the clip and the photos!
