This Is Your Reminder That God Loves You!

This Is Your Reminder That God Loves You!

Did you ever sing the song, "Jesus Loves Me" when you were a child? That song was more than a little ditty to sing, because there is so much truth in that song.

There are times that we all feel unloved, unwanted, or unimportant. And we all need to be reminded that God loves us.

Creation

Look around you. Notice all of those colors, nature, and beautiful things? Those were created by our heavenly Father for us to enjoy.

One cannot help but be in awe at God's creation. The waterfalls, mountain tops, bubbling creeks, graceful deer in the meadow, a bald eagle flying, and the coo of a newborn baby are just a few of the things He made for us to enjoy.

Grace

He abounds in grace for us. You and I are not left alone to wallow in our mistakes nor be condemned for the rest of our life for our sins. Through Jesus we have been saved from our sins, and through God's grace (that is sufficient for us) we have been given this life to enjoy.

Burden Lifter

In life we tend to get weighed down by the burdens in life such as bills, relational issues, money problems, and health issues; but with God we do not have to face these issues alone.

He is our burden lifter. All we have to do is pray and ask for strength to get through our problems. He loves us, therefore, He carries those burdens by giving us hope, joy, and peace.

Jesus

How do we know God loves you and I?

Well, listen: If He did not love us, there would have been no way that He would have sent his only son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.

In John 15:13 Jesus it says that there is no greater love than for one to lay down their life for their friends, just as Jesus did.

So why did He do this? Because God loves us.

In the Bible it says, "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins" (1 John 4:10).

He Just Loves Us

The Bible says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love" (Jeremiah 31:3).

Everlasting is forever. There is no end to His merciful and perfect love. He loves us eternally. How wonderful is that?

Still struggling to believe that God loves you?

Well, don't base it on your emotions. Our feelings lie to us, they change at the drop of a hat, and feelings are conditional.

God's love is not conditional. It does not depend on how good we are, how often we go to church, or how religious we are.

God is love. We love Him because He loved us first.

Please be encouraged and know that God loves you!
