This clip is becoming the hot topic of the internet, and it might be a reason for some countries to rethink their policies towards Russia. In it, we see how Vladimir Putin had to step in himself to save a poor pooch from the "monster" that is the President of Turkmenistan.

Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov had recently gifted this dog to Putin, but for some unknown reason, he got a strange urge to pick it up by the scruff.

We totally get it, that is how dogs carry their newborn puppies. But we are pretty sure that if dogs could grab things the way we can, there's no way on Earth they would be lifting their puppies by the scruff.

Putin couldn't bear the sight for more than a few seconds. He eventually intervened and gave this cute pup a warm boop kiss on its head:

One might think it's impossible to make Putin act like a normal, sympathetic human being who cares about animals. But it looks like the President of Turkmenistan did that without even knowing it!

But if you look it up, you will find out that Putin is the one who presented laws in Russia that bans the harming of strays and ensure that authorities capture them and treat them well.

Before you jump to any conclusions, just remember that even Hitler himself loved dogs – so it is not necessarily an accurate test of decency.
