David Bowie was an icon before most of us were born. Yet, his fanbase is always growing, because to this day, no one understood the rebels, misfits, the society's rejects, better than Starman.

The ever-changing legend was a wise, fascinating figure. His intelligence shined through the lyrics, as well as in interviews. Bowie didn't fit the mold, and he accepted it, which is why he remained the coolest. It may be true that David Bowie didn't see the world as the rest of us, so that's simply a part of his legacy and mystique.

He loved reading, theater, so his artistic and creative mind was always working. Here are some of the examples of David Bowie's brilliance:

You'd better be prepared for doing a lot of touring because that's really the only unique situation that's going to be left.
