Amazon's animated adaptation of Robert Kirkman's superhero comic series is not for those with a weak heart. Sure, it may not be a live production like The Boys, but Invincible is full of blood, violence, and adult content.

For a start, be aware that the show develops slowly. Well, except for a specific scene in episode 1 that shocked viewers who hadn't read comics before. The Wilds
The Wilds is Amazon's latest well-received production and relies heavily on some of the biggest franchises and stand-alone pop culture stories. Castaway, the Lord of the Flies, the Lost are a source of inspiration for The Wilds, who see a group of eight teenage girls forced to survive on a desert island after their plane crashes.

Based on the podcast of the same name, Julia Roberts is starring in the first season of this thriller, which is quietly one of the best Amazon Prime shows. Housed in a mysterious institution called Homecoming, where soldiers receive therapy, this show lacks massive twists.
Still, it features an abundance of deep character development between therapist Heidi Bergman (Roberts) and patient Walter Cruz (Stephan James). Homecoming is a work of Sam Esmail, the creator of Mr. Robot, and is similarly modern and unpredictable.
A second, shorter season, starring Janelle Monáe, is now available. Each episode is only 30 minutes long, which means you could easily watch the whole thing in one weekend.
