A Texas man had one of the worst days of his life when he found his lover in his bed with another man. His sweetheart was passed out and drunk, and his reaction was not what you would expect of someone in his position.
Instead of going crazy and raining blows on the man who had done this to him, Duston Holloway whipped out his phone and took pictures as evidence.
Soon, he had a few quick photos. Then he took a selfie with the cheaters before going online and getting to work.
Holloway shared the pictures on Facebook, displaying his partner's indiscretion to everyone. The photos featured a lady sleeping next to a strange shirtless man.
With the photos he put this message:
"At the point when you return home to another man in your bed with the one you cherished!"
"Great men merit great ladies."
Not many people handle these situations as he did. Soon, the online community noticed.
When asked if he woke the stranger first before taking the pictures to "kick his **s", Holloway had this to say:
"Yet I smoothly took selfies and strolled like a manager lol."
But to be fair, he tried to wake his girl up. She couldn't get up because she was too high:
"I tapped her to awaken her however she was smashed as a skunk dropped."
At this point, he saw the humor in the whole situation and chose to take pictures instead. He explained:
"I was going to inquire as to whether I was going to need to rest in the extra room and what kinda breakfast the fella enjoyed lmao."
The post went viral, and people started to comment. Many were applauding the man for not going bananas when he walked into the upsetting scene:
"I've had a great many messages; tons of individuals from everywhere the world complimented me on being a superior man and leaving."
But it was not easy. Finding someone you trust so much in that situation can be quite hurtful.
Many people start to unravel and self-destruct as soon as that happens to them. But Holloway did not let an unfaithful partner be the reason he came undone.
He was glad he posted the story on Facebook because he got more support than he anticipated. That helped him a great deal:
"I was sorrowful to actually observe anything like that, however with the measure of help from FB and loved ones, I need to by and by thank all of you."
He learned that the world is not as cold and heartless as many of us like to imagine. There are a lot of people who genuinely care although they have never met you:
"The world ain't as awful as we might suspect."
And he has not lost hope of ever finding love. He knows that he deserves better and that one day, a lady who is worth all he has to offer will come along:
"It wasn't right; it sucked however being the better individual is consistently the most ideal way. THE BEST FEELING IS WHEN SOMEONE APPRECIATES EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU THAT SOMEONE TOOK FOR GRANTED!"
It only took a few days for Dustin's post to go viral, with many people tipping their hats to the man for the manner in which he handled the situation.
Here are some of the comments:
"Dustin you're an attractive youngster. Any ladies would be glad to have you as their 'man.' You showed regard by not pounding this man all comfortable in your bed with your young lady!"
Some admit that they would not have not been as considerate:
"Truly, man, astounding position. I would have exploded quickly and woke them both up. The manner in which you kept your cool and got your vengeance was astonishing. Best of luck man!"
Not many people can manage what Dustin achieved. Most would feel shattered, devastated, angry, and homicidal.
In most circumstances, such lovers want to confront those who played part in the betrayal.
It can't be easy walking away from this kind of betrayal and accepting that it's truly over. That is why Dustin is such an inspiration.
He demonstrates that even at our lowest points, we can still reach deep and find the strength to handle the impossible with dignity and self-respect.
