Tekashi 6ix9ine has issued a challenge for a 'fight to the death' against his attackers in the rap industry.

You must have seen the news unless you've been completely out of touch with the world or occupied with more engaging activities; the rapper was purportedly attacked at the gym.

According to reports, Daniel Hernandez, professionally known as Tekashi, was quietly going about his business at a gym in Florida on Monday (20 March) when he was assaulted by a group of men.

A video that surfaced on social media shows the 26-year-old rapper lying on the bathroom floor as two men continue to kick him repeatedly.

The altercation created a disturbance, and the gym personnel eventually contacted the emergency services.

Another video capturing the aftermath of the fight shows Tekashi leaving the gym with blood all over his face.

According to TMZ, Tekashi's lawyer Lance Lazzaro stated that his client attempted to defend himself against the attackers, but the sheer number of assailants overwhelmed him and resulted in a brutal assault.

The individuals responsible for the attack have yet to be identified, but online speculation suggests that Tekashi's bodyguard, Bam Bam, may have been involved in some capacity.

Bam Bam, in a response to the criticism on his Instagram, denied any involvement in the assault and defended himself against the accusations.

He shared a video purportedly showing the assailants entering the gym and wrote: "So he couldn't just do it alone, he called for back up when he saw an opportunity."

"69 grown man n he wanted to do cardio on his own he be outside like that."

"I can't control him, but to say I set him up, false allegations, something minorities be used to, we be set up."

In another post, he dared the group to engage in a four-on-one brawl with him.

"These N**s with some pillow fist ain't even that worry about my ex-wife would whoop they a*s," he said.

"Weak a*s clowns weak a*s punches .. THEY WONT CLAIM IT THO…"

"Me n @bullet_guzman spoke he say it ain't him watch the video n it ain't him.. n I don't beat people up at LA FITNESS we do it for real @goatshed."

Expressing his confidence in his ability to defeat the alleged attackers, Bam Bam offered to pay $10,000 if they managed to overcome him in the proposed four-on-one fight.

Adding: "SO THISE GUYS IN THE VIDEO 3 n 4 counting camera guy .. 4 vs 1 y'all weak ass bitches against me .. you win I pay you 10,000$ n if you lose you die .. there will be no ref.. CLAIM IT GANGSTAS."
