A British teen has turned to donations through a crowdfunding platform to get breast reduction surgery. This comes after years of taunts and comments that have resulted in her crying herself to sleep.

Vicky Rog, aged 19, gave a recent interview about her problem. She said that many people believe large breasts are a gift, but to her, they have become 'a curse'.

Trying to Raise Over $6,000

Of course, breast reduction surgery does not come cheap, and Rog does not have the cash to have the procedure carried out. So, she has decided to set up a GoFundMe to raise the equivalent of $6,440.

Rog is only 5' 4," and the size of her bust is disproportionate to her frame. This not only affects her appearance but could eventually have an impact on her health and comfort levels.

Also, she struggles when it comes to finding underwear and clothing that fits her bust. As such, a breast reduction could help her in many ways.

She has already commented on the back issues she has because of her chest. This is something that affects many women with larger breasts and smaller frames.

Her bust issues have also resulted in scars and ripped skin because of the weight of her breasts. She said this led to blisters in the summer and pain when wearing bras for more than a couple of hours.

Another thing that Vicky struggles with is taking part in the sports activities that she enjoys. The size of her chest means that it is challenging to participate in certain sports.

Being Taunted and Grabbed

In the interview, Vicky spoke about the other issues she has faced because of her bust size. This is apparently something she has experienced since she was at school.

She said that people used to call her 'Big Boob Vicky' and teased her. Although she pretended to laugh, deep down, she said it really got to her.

She has also had many instances where men have made unwanted comments because of her bust size. In fact, Vicky said that she had been inappropriately grabbed by men while she was out clubbing.

When she set up her GoFundMe page, Vicky wrote that she didn't feel right trying to get others to help raise funds for the surgery. However, she added that it's better than to keep crying herself to sleep.

Vicky said that she has been to see her doctor in the past about the issue. This resulted in referrals to physiotherapists, which then impacted her attendance at school.

She described her chest as looking ridiculous compared to her frame. Vicky also wrote that she wanted the surgery not just for appearance's sake but for lifestyle and medical reasons.

She set up the funding page after being promised NHS breast reduction surgery when she turned 18 but then being told she couldn't yet have it. This is because her breasts were still growing, so she was told she would have to continue waiting.

Vicky stated that this is her only option to eliminate the many issues her breasts have caused. She aims to get down to a B or C cup if possible.
