Teen Who Faces Life In Prison For Murder Of Her Sex Trafficker Was Released On Bail

Chrystul Kizer, a young woman of only 19, is facing the possibility of life behind bars. She murdered 33-year-old Randy Volar, the man who was sex trafficking her for years.

She was released on bail after the media and activists were able to raise the money she needed. Chrystul's case has sparked controversy on a global scale.

She faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide and arson, which has a mandatory life sentence. The teen will head back to court at a later date - not known to the public - with a legal team who will assist her.

The Tragedy Behind The Crime

Chrystul stated that she has been trafficked by Randy since she was only 16 years old. They met while she was trying to earn a living by being an underaged escort.

Randy started to ask for her services regularly and at first, she went to him voluntarily. However, things became complicated soon enough.

Apparently, Randy recorded his encounters with the teenager and collected the footage. He was doing the same thing with dozens of other children as well. Some of them were as young as 12 at the time. It is most likely that he met some of these young kids in a different way as not many 12-year-olds are escorting.

Randy was finally caught by police in 2018 and arrested on charges of using a PC to facilitate a child sex crime, second-degree sexual assault of a child and child enticement.

Stacks of evidence was found at his home. This included a hoard of videos that shows his abuse of multiple children. It is reported that Chrystul is one of the children seen in the recovered footage.

Sadly though, Randy spent only one night in prison and was released without bail.

His relationship with Chrystul became more aggressive and controlling. He also started trafficking her and making money for himself.

By taking the money she 'worked' for, Randy was making sure she remained dependent on him.

She started to distance herself from him but according to Chrystul, this only made things worse.

Randy became even more aggressive and threatened to kill her if she tried to leave him. At this time, she became involved with Delane Nelson.

Delane gave her a handgun so she could protect herself against Randy.

The Crime

It wasn't long after this that Chrystul ended up at Randy's house. It's not quite clear why she went there but she claims he drugged her by putting something in her drink.

Randy then went on to try and rape Chrystul while she was drugged and she put up a fight. During the struggle, she fired the gun, and Randy was shot in the head twice.

Chrystul set the man's body on fire and fled from the scene in his BMW. She says she does not remember anything of what happened.

The police found her in Milwaukee and after intense interrogation, Chrystul admitted to the murder.
