Physical education teacher Valtteri Mulkahainen from Sotkamo, Finland, is a wildlife enthusiast. He devoted his free time to taking miraculous wildlife pictures, and the results are often incredible.

While exploring Finish taiga near Martinselkonen, Valtteri caught a glimpse of a mama bear and her cubs. Luckily for us, his camera was ready to capture these precious moments.

The teacher and photographer was amazed by the view. He told BoredPanda:

"The bear cubs behaved like little children."

"They were playing and even started a few friendly fights. I felt like I was on a playground in front of my house, where small children frolic around. That's how much these adorable animals reminded me of little children. At one point, the three of them got up on their hind legs and started pushing each other. It was like they were dancing in a circle."

Valtteri stayed in his shelter 50 meters (164 feet) away from the bears, but he didn't leave them the whole day and night:

"I photographed the cubs with the bear all evening and all night."

While you can spot a bear pretty much anywhere in Finland, they try to stay away from people, especially new moms. So, Valtteri's photos are a rare insight into an ordinary day of a mama bear and her lively bunch.

The cubs in these photos expressed tremendous strength, agility, and we're sure they'll be great hunters when the time comes. Bears are also fantastic swimmers and climbers, but all we want to do is cuddle when we look at these cubs!

Valtteri Mulkahainen will never forget seeing this gentle side of powerful hunters. And speaking of hunters, they are just as bad in Finland as they are across the globe.

The Finnish Natural Resources Institute estimates there were between 2020 and 2130 bears before the 2019 hunting season.

The numbers are always declining, so if you know a hunter, show them these pictures of baby bears enjoying life. These images are heartwarming!
