Kids don't always have a filter when they speak. Without even thinking, they often say funny and witty things. In most cases, you don't know what will pop out of their mouths, whether at school or at home.

Being a teacher and working with children isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Though it's part of the job, you'll have to put up with every silly thing they come up with.

This teacher went viral after sharing an amusing story of how little Johnny responded to a basic math task. His answer will make you burst out laughing.

Teacher: "If I gave you two cats and another two cats and then another two, how many would you have?"

Johnny: "Seven!"

Teacher: "No, no, listen carefully… If I gave you two cats, and another two cats and another two, how many would you have?"

Johnny: "Seven."

The teacher rubs her temples and takes a deep breath.

Teacher: "Come on, Johnny, you're better than this. Let me put it to you differently. If I gave you two apples, and another two apples and another two, how many would you have?"

Johnny: "Six."

Teacher: "Good. Now, if I gave you two cats, and another two cats and then another two, how many would you have?"

Johnny: "Seven!"

Teacher: "Johnny, where in the heck do you get seven from?!?"

Johnny: "Because I've already got a freaking cat!"
