Being a teacher can be quite challenging. Laura Morris, an educator at Luckett's Elementary School in Leesburg, Virginia, is well aware of this fact.

Laura recently addressed the school board to explain her decision to leave the teaching profession. She made her statement with tears in her eyes as she tendered her resignation.

In her statement, Laura cited the emphasis on equity trainings and political doctrines within the district as reasons for her resignation. She expressed that her personal beliefs no longer aligned with an organization that she felt was holding back "white, Christian, able-bodied females."

Morris had dedicated five years of her life to working for the school district before deciding to resign. She grew increasingly disheartened by the lack of alignment between her own values and the agendas within the system. Additionally, she was troubled by the failure to shield children from contentious issues.

The debate escalated primarily due to the teaching of Critical Race Theory (CRT), sparking considerable tension, particularly evident in heated exchanges during school board meetings, some resulting in arrests.
