Taxidermists Are Turning Deer Butts Into Sasquatch Heads And I Can't Stop Laughing Joshua Published in May 2021 / Updated in Oct 2021 We get that some people are creeped out by taxidermy, and a few others find it distasteful, but this is different. In fact, you might find this pretty cool. Personally, I wouldn't do this, but that does not mean I can't appreciate the ingenuity, skill, and dedication that went into making these interior decor masterpieces. If you come from a family of hunters, having mounted deer heads on the wall was a typical thing. Usually, very little focus goes into the other parts of the animal's body, such as the backside. Apparently, there are taxidermists out there who are turning deer butts into sasquatch heads, and it's both hilarious and cool. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Inspirational Bad Taxidermy (@inspirational_bad_taxidermy) They have even come up with a fancy name for this cheeky version of taxidermy: ASSquatch. With a name like that, it's no surprise that people can't seem to keep seeing the humor in these creations. To be honest, this is the hardest I have laughed in a long time. We need this kind of humor to keep us going during these difficult times. This pandemic is getting the best of us. So, we can at least enjoy the fun moments while they last. So, here's more ASSquatch. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ThreadWeird (@threadweird) I can see why a lot of people would want to buy this for their homes. Imagine how good of a conversation starter it would be? I am sure that even those who find this creation amusing can agree that it's quite weird, and why wouldn't it be? Although it might rub those who oppose hunting the wrong way, deer hunting is actually a means for some families to put food on the table. If there ever was a new industry trend that had a chance of catching on, this is it. We could all use some moments of fun these days. However, spaced out they might be.
