Supernatural Star "lucky To Be Alive" After "very Bad" Car Accident

Supernatural star Jared Padalecki was involved in a severe car crash, and according to his co-star Jensen Ackles, he is "lucky to be alive."

Both actors, who played the brothers Sam and Dean Winchester in the popular TV series, had planned to participate in a weekend-long fan convention in New Jersey. When Ackles turned up alone, he had to explain the situation to the fans.

"He sends his love. I spoke to him yesterday, and he's sad he can't be here".

The details about Padalecki's injuries and the car crash are unknown. However, Ackles assured the fans that the 39-year-old star was recovering and resting up at home.

"He was in a very bad car accident. He wasn't driving, he was in the passenger seat, and he's lucky to be alive. And not only that, but he's at home recovering, which the fact that he's not even in the hospital right now is blowing my mind, because I saw the car".

Fortunately, the incident did not lead to any fatalities. Ackles continued sharing what Padalecki had told him about the accident.

"That airbag packs a punch. He's like, 'I feel like I went 12 rounds with Tyson'. But he is doing okay, and he's moving around. But yeah, [it was a] really, really bad car accident".

Ackles assured the fans that Padalecki would be back soon, and he encouraged them to keep his co-star in their minds and send him some love on social media.

"He'll be back messing up mic stands before we know it. It'll be great."

Padalecki tweeted about his absence:

The fans quickly did as suggested, and the Hashtags #WeLoveYouJaredPadalecki and #GetWellSoonJared have been spreading on Twitter.

The social media users continued to wish him well and spread love. One fan wrote:

"Jared gives so much of himself to everyone he loves. I hope he takes the time and rest he needs to take care of himself."

Another one commented:

"I don't even have words to express my relief and gratitude that you're alive and well. The world would be the darkest place without your light in it. I'm thankful for your life and will never take it for granted."
