Do you love playing video games? Today's game graphics are so real, that they actually plunge you into the game while you play. Almost anyone who has played Mario has wished to be part of the fun in real life. The mushroom kingdom looks like a beautiful place to be immersed and have fun. If are you one of those folks who love the idea of immersive games, then Nintendo might just have the perfect solution for you.
Nintendo recently announced that they are building an actual theme park land, based on Nintendo, where you can literally immerse yourself in the mushroom kingdom and other great settings. It includes its most popular franchises including Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Game and watch, Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Splatoon, and many more.
The attraction is set to be in the universal studios' theme parkland situated in Japan. If you don't live in Osaka, Japan, worry not because Universal studios and Nintendo have announced that they have plans to bring the theme park to Orlando Florida, and Hollywood California. The construction of the parks has already started with theme park buff @Ryanthemepark sharing photos of the construction site in Orland, Florida leaving folks with the unreal excitement of what the final look will be like. The photos show the construction sites of Orlando, Hollywood, and Osaka's construction sites. It's pretty cool seeing the construction started since it proves that the theme park is not just pure fantasy.
Universal studios promise a "complete immersive experience" according to Japan's Universal Studios CEO J.L. Bonnier. This makes sense since the total project cost a whopping $433 million according to their press release. The park will include rides, wholesales, cafeterias, real-life forms of both Bowser's and Princess Peach's Castles, and dancing Mario with the game's music and the lot!
The project started when Universal studios Japan and Nintendo decided in 2015 that they are joining forces to build the amazing attractions in Universal parks using the very best of the Nintendo franchise. The plan is to open the park, which will be known as Super Nintendo world, in 2020, just in time for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The company stated that the park will be created at the highest conceivable excellence thanks to the amazing cooperation between Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto, who is the Creative correspondent at Nintendo, and Mark Woodbury who's the president of Universal creative. Both are known for their renowned technical and unique brilliance.
According to the Universal Creative spokespersons, the studio will use the most cutting-edge and immersive technological attractions ever invented. The project sounds similar to the large-scale projects Universal Studios made with Warner Brothers to build a Harry Potter theme park called the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
If you aren't already broke from buying the Nintendo Switch and all the amazing games of the world of Nintendo, you will absolutely love the new theme park which is set to break records as the best theme park ever!
