Many would argue, but making eye-catching puns is somewhat of an art form. It takes skills and sometimes experiences to create something funny and terrible at the same time. Indian Hills Community of Colorado seems to be pros at it.
While puns and dad jokes have received a bad rep over the years (some people react with a groan or an eye-roll instead of the intended laugh), many believe the appeal of this misunderstood comedy genre actually lies in its inherent cheesiness.
As for me, I can't think of anything more satisfying than a well-timed, multi-faceted pun. Clever and creative word-plays are just the kind of things that tickle my funny bone.
If this story is anything to go by, millions of you out there would agree!
A Colorado native, Vince Rozmiarek, decided to put up some pretty hilariously creative roadside signs, which showcase the kind of wit that only dads seem to really excel at.
What once began as an April Fools' prank has put Vince and his town, Indian Hills, firmly on the map, with a Facebook page dedicated to the signs having more than 90k followers worldwide.

In an interview with Bored Panda, Vince revealed that his inspiration came when he started volunteering at Indian Hills Community center.
"It all began 5 years ago, on April's fools day, when I put up a street sign that stirred up the area."
"We have a heavy police presence in the town of Morrison, which is next to Indian Hills, and they run a ton of speed traps traffic signs. The sign said, 'Indian Hills annexed by Morrison, slow down.' Many people believed that prank, and the amount of attention it brought was really surprising."
From then on, Vince decided to put bad puns and jokes up a couple of times a week.
"I also try to create unique holiday puns/sayings, and current events that I feel are important. It is hard to keep coming up with the material, but I do try."
He also explained that the reason he does it is straightforward – he likes to make people laugh.
