The former adult actress Jasmin St Claire, known for setting a record by performing sexual acts on 300 men in 24 hours, has shared her opinion on porn and social media.
The renowned adult actress claimed that social media had diminished the glamour surrounding the porn industry, adding that the days of porn "stars" are over.
"I think social media has cheapened so many things, and we have lost the glamour we once had in the golden age of adult," Jasmin said about the subject.
"But it has also given some great people opportunities they may not have had otherwise. There are a lot of porn performers, but the age of 'stars' died in the late 1990 or early 2000s."
In 2011 Jasmin was initiated into the Adult Video News (AVN) Hall of Fame thanks to her contribution to the adult entertainment industry.
She appreciated the recognition as she described it as "pretty damn cool," and she showed gratitude to her loyal fans for their support.
The successful adult star, however, now wishes to continue her career in the normal film industry.
Her goal is to land a regular movie role, and she has taken classes to perfect her acting skills.
"I did theatre as a kid and always wanted to return," she shared.
"So, as I have been out of adult for more than 23 years, I wanted to act again and took classes. I studied Strasberg and Meisner (acting techniques). I also competed in the Second City Conservatory Program."
"I love theatre and TV programs in the UK, so hopefully, my RP (Received Pronunciation) and other British dialects will help and get me some work there."
The former adult actress has a few unexpected talents that might help her reach her dream.
"I would love to do more dramas in Europe. I speak other languages fluently," she explained.
"As far as Hollywood, whatever comes my way and feels right, I'll take! There are so many good opportunities there. The right roles always land in my lap, and I apply myself to the fullest."
