This latest beef between Snoop Dogg and Kanye West started after Kim Kardashian introduced the new Yeezy sandals. Snoop quickly compared them to prison slippers.
Snoop is considered the ultimate representation of West Coast hip-hop, who became famous in the 1990s as a gangsta rapper.
His real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr. People believe that he came up with the name Snoop Dogg based on his mother's tendency to say he looked like Snoopy in the Peanuts cartoon.
Besides calling himself Snoop Dogg, he has also used the names Snoop Doggy Dogg and Snoop Lion.
Dr. Dre helped put him on the map when he was a budding musician.
After that, his star only shone brighter. He is one of the most successful rappers in the world today.

To begin with, his lyrics have been criticized for their sexism on countless occasions.
