Ginger Robinson, 52, gave up her job in marketing and decided to go all in making a career in the adult industry. She took the leap after her children had encouraged her.

Becoming a MILF porn star changed the mother's life and she quickly learned that many men enjoy an experienced lady like herself.

Ginger describes herself as a data geek and she has worked in digital strategy for a long time.

She came in contact with the MILF porn industry while in lockdown during the Covid pandemic and it made her intrigued.

When she decided to try her luck in the industry she quickly reached success and has been rewarded with nominations for Best MILF Social Media Star by XBiz and the Hottest MILF award by AVN.

The Pennsylvania-born mother also started an OnlyFans account that she says has helped build her confidence.

Ginger is a single mother and her two children, aged 17 and 26, encouraged her to go for her new career if that is what she wished.

Of course, Ginger had concerns for her children if she would become a porn star, however, they wanted their mother to follow her heart.

The single mother told Daily Star about her career change during an interview.

"I was a teacher in my 20s, I left school and got my MA. I got into advertising, and I found out I was really good at it. I built a career, and worked very hard," she explained.

"It's predominantly a male industry, so I worked hard to raise through the channels. It got to around two-and-a-half years ago, and I was just exhausted."

She was often away on business trips and missed spending time with her family.

She wanted to change her life and the travel restrictions during the pandemic gave her some needed time to think things through.

On a later occasion, she was asked a question while at a barbeque party.

"Someone asked me if I had ever considered doing MILF porn," she confessed.

"I said I would never do that, but he told me his wife makes around $300,000 a month on OnlyFans."

"I said thank you but I said I couldn't - I couldn't do that to my kids."

However, a seed had been planted and she got curious. She used her skills in analytics and metadata to research how OnlyFans worked.

She first visited her therapist to discuss her new ideas.

"You should do it if that's what you want to do," she was advised, and afterward, she decided to discuss it with her kids.

The single mother had always been eager to fulfill social expectations and present herself in a "perfect" way on social media. However, her son helped her realize that it was time to let go of other people's opinions.

"He said: 'Mum – why do you care what other people think?' That moment changed my life forever," Ginger explained.

"He said 'go and get your bag mom', which means go for it."

"I'm grateful that my children have never had any backlash from it."

"I did lose some friends, but my kids never had backlash."

Ginger now feels she made the right choice as her career makes her feel strong and has allowed her to spend more time with her family.

She has worked creating films for the adult website Brazzers together with people that have inspired her.

"It's empowering, but I don't sleep around in my personal life. I have my life as a mom, and then I have my work life," she wanted to clarify.

She has accepted that not everyone will agree with what she is doing and that not every friendship can survive her career change.

"The friends I have lost – one of them was a very good friend for many years. She did some questionable things, but I loved her in spite of it. If you love someone, you love them in spite of it, but I've heard a lot of judgment through her from other people."

The MILF genre has grown popular, a trend Ginger explains with that men want more mature and experienced women.

Even GILF (granny) porn has seen a rise in popularity.

"There are fantasies that older women have more experience. They like the 'no bulls***' attitude about us," ginger stated.
