Emily Edson, 39, of Lamar, Missouri, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual misconduct with a child and one count of promoting child pornography.

According to court documents, the former teacher sent messages to three 13-year-olds nude selfies to seduce them.

She even begged one of the boys to have sex with her.

After a series of conversations, the mom of one of the boys learned of Emily's conversations with her son.

The mom then took her son's phone to cops as evidence and filed a report, and police described the conversation on the teen's phone as sexually provocative.

Following an investigation, police secured a search warrant and seized Edson's cellphone. They later arrested her.

The officers also seized her computer, electronic tablet and CDs from her home.

Prosecutors then filed charges on Emily, claiming she sent 13 nude photos of herself to three male students.

Emily also sent 'explicit messages to one of the boys asking him to have sex with her. She also texted the teen in a sexual manner,' according to affidavits.

During her sentencing, Judge David Munton said Emily deserves concurrent terms for her charges: Three counts of sexual misconduct and two counts of possession of indecent images.

Before her guilty plea, Emily was facing an additional count of sexual enticement for begging for sex from one of the boys.

Due to her plea deal, prosecutors dropped the enticement count and one count of possession of child pornography.

They also amended the second count to promoting child pornography. In addition, the court capped the sentences she might receive to four years.
