While most of us struggle to organize a small group getaway, these seven BFFs have taken friendship to another level by buying a mansion together so they can all grow old together.

In life, there's nothing better than having a BFF you can count on no matter what. To have someone that understands you and who you can understand.

A person who can get you past the toughest times in your life and make those happy times much more magical.

In fact, I would argue that even the "bad times" are pretty magical when you have a BFF because just spending some time with them or joking about how terrible of a situation you're in could figuratively "turn diarrhea into champagne."

Or literally, if your mate is a niche alchemist.

While some people go through their entire lives without ever finding a BFF, some are lucky enough to have a close circle of lifelong compadres.

And these seven BFFs in China hit the jackpot early on— they pooled their cash and bought a mansion so they can all grow old together.

How's that for friendship goals, eh?

Over the years, their joke became more of a plan, and now it's practically a reality.

Like many BFFs' dreams, the idea started as a joke, but when the seven spotted a massive in need of some renovation in the suburbs of Guangzhou, China, they decided to make it a reality.

One of the friends named Jin Du told Yitiao:

"At first, it was just a joke. We said we would get together when we were 60 and live the retired life together."

"We'll cook, have barbecues in the fields, sing, and collect food from the village."

They bought the property and decided to renovate it.

It cost them $580,000 (4 million yuan), but the end results are incredible.

The main floor is an open, communal living space.

This property features plenty of comfy couches to hang out, floor-to-ceiling windows and a pool in the yard.

But the the kitchen 'real deal.'

The cooking space is so spacious that the seven friends can cook together without getting it each other's way. And the communal table can fit all of their extended friends and family.

The upper floors feature private bedrooms for each of the ladies.

Just look at the view from those windows? It's so lush and green!

They've also built an outdoor pavilion among the paddies, accessed by a bamboo walkway.

It's a place to chat, drink tea and socialize, a thing the seven love to do.

Isn't that view spectacular?

Of course, their retirement is still a ways off.

Jin said:

"We're all independent individuals, but we can communicate and rely on each other at the same time."

"Ten years later, our children would have all grown up. So we hope we can be together again in 10 years."
