Sometimes, these experimental attires turn out so well that they set a new trend, while others unintentionally turn out hilarious. Once, a celebrity turned up at one of such award ceremonies with a giant inking on her thigh that caused quite a ruckus...

Talking about simple and classy, Lizzo showed up embodying how to look classy even when you don't have a supermodel body. However, what made her stand out was her incredibly tiny purse. According to her, the ultra-tiny Valentino bag, which can be grasped with just fingertips, is one of three in the world.

Dua Lipa

Lipa showed up at the AMAs in a hot pink Miu Miu dress with a velvety black bow that showed off her tattoos. It was a totally gorgeous outfit paired with an emerald and diamond Bvlgari necklace and a strappy black heel covered in bow ties. As basic as it might have looked, it was stunning on her.

Sofia Carson

Finessing the red carpet in immaculate style was Sofia Carson at AMAs. Wearing the designer Francesco Scognamiglio's reflective dress from his Fall/Winter 2019-2020 collection, she shined as bright as a diamond.

Ciara

Hosting the Award show in 2019, Ciara was the host with the most. She rocked nine outfits, of which this is one. She looked absolutely stunning in this sequined orange jumpsuit with a floor-trailing bow by Georges Hobeika. She sparkled.

Lil Nas X

The fact that Lil Nas pulled off this risky outfit is unbelievable. Dressed in a bright neon green two-piece tuxedo from Christopher John Rogers, he wore a bold zebra print beneath the cropped jacket and accompanied it with matching 'wild opera gloves.' He finished off the look with a flashy square-toe heel by United Nude and jewelry from Sophia Brand.

Ciara Again

Ciara leveled up with this oversized cobalt blue pantsuit created by Balmain. She completed this glamorous look with a large Jacquie Aiche turquoise jewelry. She pulled it off effortlessly.

Maya Hawke

Maya brought a mixture of gothic and princessy to the red carpet wearing Dior couture. We loved how the belt snatched her waist and her gold grown which perfectly complemented her outfit.

Katherine Langford

This lady in red showed up in Rodarte on the red carpet. The textured floral appliques enlivened the silhouette of this dress, accompanied by Stuart Weitzman's "Nudist" sandals that were dyed to match her dress. She went all red with red eye makeup as well but, we especially loved her bejeweled hairline.

Wondering how to pull off a pregnancy red carpet appearance? Jenna did it and so well at that. Her curve-hugging Emporio Armani Bateau neck, coral gown with an open back, and silk satin bow left viewers impressed.

You rarely go wrong with floral dresses, and Halsey proved that with this gorgeous outfit that had her looking like a walking rainbow. Her colorful eye makeup took a look from just gorgeous to fierce, and the variety of pastel colors on the flowing dress made it even more memorable.

The definition of "when a man knows what suits him." Diplo brought that country flair with this caramel brown peak-lapelled MCM suit accompanied by a cowboy hat and leather waistcoat that not just anyone can pull off.

This jacket-over-bare-chest trend is a tough style move. What's tougher is when it's a slim-fit aubergine suit. This A-lister pulled it off effortlessly.

Lauren walked the red carpet in this snakeskin gown, accessorized with a snake ring. The Usama Ishtay dress was complimented with Stuart Weitzman shoes, Steere handcuff and earrings, and a bracelet from Kyle Chan.

The 61-year-old star showed up at the AMA 2019 in an all-black ensemble, and she looked fantastic. It looked basic, but she pulled it off well, as usual.

Her space buns accentuated her pastel-pink dress with crisscross details at the bust and opened back. Her white, pointy pumps completed her look. It was simple and classy.

With black, you rarely go wrong. The guitar mix and mustache, striped suits, and hairstyles worked out pretty fine. Not spectacular, but okay.

Objectively, this looks ugly but, Malone pulled it off, and we can't still understand how. His checkered suit, classy bolo tie with a black and white cowboy hat patterned with barbed wire were truly funky.

Another lady in red. What thrilled me about this is that her dress, shoes, purse, and jewelry are of the same color and still, it doesn't look too much. Well, she rocks in almost anything.

A sequined suit in such catchy colors was risky but well worth it since it turned out great on her. Her pumps matched just fine, with the rest of her look pretty simple.

Undisputedly the star of the night, this simple sparkly green outfit accompanied by high boots was the perfect outfit for Taylor Swift. Simple and chic.

Selena popped in this lime green Versace dress and shoes. With her hair in a bob and simple jewelry, she was the talk of the show. However, this wasn't largely about her dress, but about a controversial photo, she posted on Instagram before the show.

One particular picture showed off her latest inking. It was hard to miss because of its size and where it was placed. The tattoo was engraved high up her thighs, and her fans went absolutely crazy about it.
