Finding out your partner has been cheating on you can be heartbreaking even for the strongest among us. The feeling of betrayal, disrespect, and inadequacy often weighs down on the victim and may require a lot of time to heal. But finding out about your partner's adventures just in the nick of time may save you a lifetime of misery.

This was the case for an Australian bride-to-be. After a six-year-long relationship that had their families intertwined, the beautiful bride was certain she had found The One. She was spending the night before her big day with her friends at a fancy hotel toasting away her singlehood.

The Life Changing Text

As is customary for a bride-to-be, her phone kept buzzing with congratulatory messages and last-minute confirmations to make the big day memorable. What the bride did not expect was to receive a message from an unknown number revealing screenshots of an exchange between her soon-to-be husband and another woman! The screenshots came accompanied by a few selfies of the pair and a simple "I wouldn't marry him. Will you?"

Evidence of the Affair

The bride could barely believe her eyes. Laid out before her was evidence of her husband's dirty secret with texts from just a few days ago. The affair had been going on for months right under her nose. The texts read;

"This weekend. You and I. It is on hot stuff. Bring your A-game." to
"Your body is **** incredible. And **** do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do." and

"I miss you so much. I can't stop thinking about L, S, F'ing you. I've never had this kind of connection before."

The bride was broken and embarrassed. The words cut deep within like a dagger. All the silly late work trips finally made sense to her. Her friends gathered around her in support and a number of them even threatened to attack her cheating man. While her friends were of the opinion that she should call off the wedding, she had something else in store for her now ex.

The Golden Idea

The bride showed up to her wedding looking as beautiful as expected and awed the onlookers as she walked down the aisle. While to the onlookers she may have made a spectacular sight, deep down she was laden with sorrow and her dream dress had now been reduced to a costume in an act.

It was the moment of truth. The time for her vows had come. Everybody must have been anxious to hear what she had to say. Instead, she broke the silence by announcing,

"There will be no wedding today. It seems Alex is not who I thought he was."

Silence filled the room. The bride pulled out her phone and read out the texts word for word not sparing the X-rated messages. The groom, shocked and embarrassed, stormed off followed by his best man.
