So, how do we make Rotel sausage and cream cheese crescents?

Start by cooking the sausage.

Drain the Rolet tomatoes and green chiles well with a fine mesh colander and paper towels.

Let the cream cheese come to room temperature.

Preheat the oven to 375f degrees.

Combine the sausage, cream cheese, drained Rotel, and herbs in a mixing bowl.

Separate rolls into triangles. Cut each triangle in half to create two triangles.

Use a small scoop to add a little of the mixture to the base of each crescent triangle and roll up.

Place the crescents on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes until they turn golden brown.

You can use regular or low-fat cream cheese. The same goes for crescent rolls.
