Ricky Gervais Calls Matador Who Wiped Tears From Bull He Killed A ‘sequinned C**t’

Ricky Gervais, an animal rights activist, has criticized a Spanish matador who wiped tears and blood from a bull's face before killing it. He described the bullfighter as a "sequinned c*nt."

The young matador, Morantel de la Puebla, was participating in a bullfighting festival at the Real Maestranza bull arena in Seville, Andalusia.

Puebla took a white tissue from his pockets and wiped the blood and tears from the wounded animal a few seconds before killing it in front of the crowd.

Ricky Gervais has been criticizing people who hurt animals for fun, whether traditions or trophy hunter sports. And when he saw this bullfighter, he was horrified by the incident.

On his Twitter, Gervais launched a foul-mouthed tirade against this teenage bullfighter.

After Life star used condemning words to draw the public's attention to the horrifying incident and show how he felt about the bullfighter wiping the bull's tears then killing it.

Gervais called this matador a "dirty little psychopathic sequinned c*nt."

In the footage, the bull can be seen in remorse as four spiked "banderillas" sticks out on the animal's back before the final death act took place.

Animal rights groups have described the act as "malicious and perverse." But bullfighting fans said Puebla was showing respect to the animal.

The leader of Spain's Animalist Party Against Mistreatment of Animals, Silvia Barquero Nogales, said:

"Only a malicious and perverse mind could torture an animal until the blood pours down its legs and then wipe its face with a tissue."

"The matador is just disguising for his lack of empathy. Abolish bullfighting now."

After the incident, the footage was shared on Twitter and have received over 2.3 million views.

Many social media users have slammed Puebla, calling him "psychopathic," "sadistic," and "hypocritical."

In the video, the matador continues to kill the bull a few moments after wiping the animals' "tears."

Gervais was challenged by some bullfighting fans saying that Puebla was only doing what he was brought up to do.

They argued that other bullfighters had done it before. But most social media users were against the horrifying act.

The bullfighting incidence has led many animal activists to advocate for abolishing some bullfighting traditions and sports in Spain.

The video shared on social media showed the extent of animal distress as the heartless bullfighter killed the bull.

Bullfighting in Spain is proceeded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport. But the surprising thing is that no statistics on bull injuries are kept.

Let's hope that the Gervais awareness platform will draw more attention from the public and help influence a less brutal life for the bull's population.
