Red Lobster Reveals Unconventional Lobster Claw Bloody Mary Drink with Cheddar Bay Biscuit

It takes a true adventurer to appreciate the glory of a Bloody Mary, and Red Lobster has made it all the more so with the unveiling of a new Bloody Mary drink. Red Lobster released this Drink-a-tizer with the National Bloody Mary Day, January 1, in view, and it lasted till February 2, 2020.

Its Components

This Limited Edition alcoholic beverage is made up of Red Lobster's Bloody Mary mix (majorly tomato-based), Tito's vodka, spicy chipotle BBQ on the rim of the glass, a jumbo shrimp, a slice of lime, and a piece of olive.

Its most intriguing feature is a chilled lobster claw sitting boldly in the middle of the drink. Its most common feature as a drink from Red Lobster is its trademark cheddar biscuit.

Its Price

Its price varied from one Red Lobster outlet to another but with a roughly average of $11.99. It was made available from December 31, 2019, to February 2, 2020.

Why is this drink special?

Unlike the common classic toppings of just lime and olive, this drink offered a variety of things to dissect and savor. Each topping contributed its unique flavor.

As expressed by one appreciative drinker, the overall effect was that "it had a peppery flavor and spiciness that was vibrant but not overbearing."

Although the lobster claw at first glance might seem overwhelming sitting right in the middle of your drink, you can take your time to enjoy it after finishing with your drink or in between.

True, the time Red Lobster offered this drink has passed, but they still have a variety of tasty cocktails and other mixed drinks. We just appreciate craft drinks!

Bloody Mary and hangovers

Well, the Bloody Mary can make you feel better if you have a hangover. The non-booze ingredients of a Bloody Mary, particularly the tomatoes, provide your body with a host of nutrients, one of which is vitamin B6.

Vitamin B6 is one of the few remedies that reduce the effects of a hangover. So, yes, the Bloody Mary does have its benefits but trust vodka to do you no good.

Though the lobster claw blood Mary is out of a sale, for now, you can treat yourself to the conventional ones if you haven't. This way, you can prepare for any new surprises Red Lobster might have in store for us in the near future.
