Ray Liotta Dies: "goodfellas" Star & "field Of Dreams" Actor Was 67

His publicist confirmed that Ray Liotta passed away in his sleep while filming on location in the Dominican Republic. The actor was 67.

According to initial reports, there was no foul play. The beloved actor simply did not wake up.

Liotta became a superstar after appearing in Scorcese's legendary movie, Goodfellas. He already had a promising role in Field of Dreams a year before.

The renowned actor was filming the film, Dangerous Waters. His fiance was with him on location.

He was set to be an executive producer for the A&E docuseries Five Families, about the rise and fall of the New York's mafia families.

Liotta left behind a daughter, Karson, 23, from his previous marriage to Michelle Grace.

The Emmy winner was engaged to Jacy Nittolo. The couple shared the news in 2020 but sadly never got to say their vows.

For many, despite numerous fantastic roles, Liotta is embodied in Henry Hill of the Goodfellas. The actor played alongside Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci and was not outshined.

In Blow, he played a character who was a father to Johnny Depp's character. He also appeared in Cop Land, Corrina Corrina, Operation Dumbo Drop, Unforgettable, Wild Hogs, etc.
